Greta von Goslar is a gorgeous 5 year old German Shepherd. Who doesn’t want this gorgeous redhead as a side kick? Greta walks great on leash and seems comfortable in new surroundings. She is very social and meets new dogs and people well, happily walking next to two other dogs she just met. She is lower energy and so polite that people stop to ask their dogs, “why can’t you be more like her?” Greta is a popular walking choice for first time volunteers, since her calm, easy-going personality is never cause for trouble. She is extremely well-mannered and our kennel workers are constantly impressed by her. Greta would be an easy fit in any home; on walks, she tends to wave a friendly hello to passing dogs and then ignore them. In playgroups, Greta continues to awe us, as she enters confidently and greets everyone in a friendly manner. She tolerates the pushy younger dogs and prefers to come back to her humans to get praises. We just cannot recommend this wonderful girl enough.
